چکیده
Radio-based vehicular simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) aims to localize vehicles while the landmarks in environment. We propose a sequence of three Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture (PMBM) based SLAM filters, which handle entire problem theoretically optimal manner. The complexity proposed filters is progressively reduced sustaining high accuracy by deriving density approximation with marginalization nuisance parameters (either vehicle state or data association). Firstly, PMBM filter serves as foundation, for we provide first complete description on Rao-Blackwellized particle filter. Secondly, (PMB) standard reduction from PMB, but involves novel interpretation auxiliary variables relation Bethe free energy. Finally, using same variable argument, derive marginalized PMB filter, avoids particles instead implemented low-complexity cubature Kalman evaluate comparison probability hypothesis (PHD) 5G mmWave networks show computation-performance trade-off between them.

متن کاملStatistical Approaches for Initial Access in mmWave 5G Systems
mmWave communication systems overcome high attenuation by using multiple antennas at both the transmitter and the receiver to perform beamforming. Upon entrance of a user equipment (UE) into a cell a scanning procedure must be performed by the base station in order to find the UE, in what is known as initial access (IA) procedure. In this paper we start from the observation that UEs are more li...

The growing demand for ubiquitous mobile data services along with the scarcity of spectrum in the sub-6 GHz bands has given rise to the recent interest in developing wireless systems that can exploit the large amount of spectrum available in the millimeter wave (mmWave) frequency range. Due to its potential for multi-gigabit and ultra-low latency links, mmWave technology is expected to play a c...
متن کاملStudy of Realistic Antenna Patterns in 5G mmWave Cellular Scenarios
Large antenna arrays and millimeter-wave (mmWave) frequencies have been attracting growing attention as possible candidates to meet the high requirements of future 5G mobile networks. In view of the large path loss attenuation in these bands, beamforming techniques that create a beam in the direction of the user equipment are essential to perform the transmission. For this purpose, in this pape...
